Rules of Use

Please note that the following rules MUST be complied with in order to protect the quality of the intelligence shared and also to show that we are meeting legal requirements put on us in law.

You will be asked to sign in your access agreement that you agree to comply with these rules.

The reputation we build with this database will show how professional we are, and it is only when other organisations like the police see that the intelligence database can be trusted that they will respect us for what we are doing, we have our own individual reputations to protect as well as AC Intel's who have been good enough to supply us with this service. We have to be sure to show that we are looking to solve fishery crime in a legal manner and that we are not an underground vigilante organisation.

Rule: #

  1. NO third hand information is to be posted, it must be first hand intelligence, otherwise it will be considered hear say by the law.

  2. DO NOT post pictures of people that you cannot confirm the identity of first hand.

  3. If you wish to post pictures of people you cannot 100% confirm the identity of first hand. You MUST smear our there faces. If you do not know how to do this you can email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and ask admin to do it for you.

  4. Never post pictures of children, if they are with people under suspicion of committing angling related crime, there face MUST be smeard out, again admin will be happy to assist with this if you need help.

  5. No bad language is to be used in any post, we all get upset about things, but it must be kept 100% civil and polite at all times.

  6. If you disagree with anybodies post you can report the user to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. stating your feeling and we will moderate it and report back to you with a final outcome.

  7. No Bullying, please stay civil at all times to other users.

  8. If you are unsure of anything in your post - DON'T POST IT, we all need accuracy in order to win this battle.

  9. You agree to the whole site being moderated by a team of moderators at all times.

  10. Any information posted on the database is confidential and is not to be discussed outside of your own organisation.

  11. Never even consider posting anything on this site on any social media platform. You could risk the police losing a case, or you could be putting people at risk.

  12. Please start your Topic in the following format: Date, Time, Venue, Crime details or Inteligence. Example: 1/1/2020 10:30pm Fishery Name or location, poaching or rod license offence.

  13. Alway be accurate and give as much detail as possible.

  14. If you state a vehicle registration, then please also state the make and colour if possible.

  15. AC Intel assure you of 100% confidentiality, we expect you to do the same in return.

Failure to comply with any of these conditions can result in a strike, AC Intel will be operating a 3 strike rule after which your access could be revoked. You will always have the right to appeal on these matters via video conference. For very serious misconduct offences like posting information on social media that would be very damaging to this effort, the moderator will have the authority to temporily suspend your acces while the matter is looked into, if the directors or committee consider it to be a serious act of breaching the rules, you could be permanently excluded from accessing the Database.

The Admin will then make a decision that again you have the right to appeal on the decision, but if the matter is then upheld you can ask for the case to be referred to the board of directors for a final decision, but we hope that this will never happen as this is not what it is all about.
